HOW IT’S DONE

Do you remember those paint-by-numbers we did as children? These are the same thing, only bigger. They can be used in private gatherings such as family reunions, church organizations, business activities and team building exercises; or in schools as an extracurricular activity or tied in to a learning program. They can be used as entertainment in public festivals or grand openings.

This is how the process works. A client and I will work out the details of a design and once approved, I will draw this out onto a wall or onto a material for later mounting to a wall. The forms in the design are broken down into color/value areas and the colors mixed for the mural, usually 60 to 120 colors. Normally I will paint the high areas and often the background leaving enough area for participants to paint in a chosen period of time.

On a predetermined day, we gather, paint and have fun.

MATERIALS

The paints are Golden brand artist’s acrylic in a fluid state for ease of use and longevity for either interior or exterior applications. I will provide all the needed materials and can be present during the painting by the participants. Installation of finished product is included.
